Each instructor takes every opportunity to train with our master instructor Mr. Fumio Manaka as often as possible. Manaka (Warrior name: Unsui) Sensei, founder of the Jinenkan, is unquestionably one of the world’s most celebrated heirs to classical Japanese Kobudo and Jissen Kobudo. It is through the consistently rigorous training of our instructors that we are capable of always offering new and exciting curricula drawn from rich traditions.

History of th Dojo
Yasuragi Dojo began operations in 1999 as a traditional Japanese arts learning center which was dedicated to offering the surrounding communities the finest in authentic martial and cultural arts.Under the direction of Chief Instructor, Adam Mitchell, Yasuragi Dojo's martial arts center has been providing adults and children with the most authentic instruction in the arts of classical jujutsu and ninjutsu available. Yasuragi Dojo has grown to serve hundreds of families in the surrounding communities as well as regional police departments, military and security firms.
The Yasuragi Dojo’s cultural arts program, under the direction of Sharon Nakazato, began as not only a means to introduce students of the classical martial arts to the so often missed cultural elements, but also to offer people from the community an experience in learning which would foster a greater appreciation for Japanese and Asian culture. In 2000, Yasuragi Dojo began a Japanese Language program for adults and children, followed by an ongoing Shodo (Japanese Brush Calligraphy) program. The Yasuragi Dojo Cultural Arts have grown to attract students from around the country and in 2002 was recognized by a special Emmissary of the Japanese Ministry of Culture.
Today, Yasuragi Dojo continues to help hundreds of people each day reach their goals and live more compassionate and powerful lives.
