JOINING OUR DOJO
There are specific steps we require of every new student to follow during orientation to training at the Dojo. Once you have thoroughly considered your intention to join, then following are the correct steps for enrollment.
HOW TO ENROLL AS A STUDENT OF OUR DOJO
There are two Membership Options for at our Dojo.
DOJO MEMBERSHIP is the program for students attending regular scheduled classes at our Dojo in New York. This membership also includes complete access to our Distance and Remote Learning Program, BUDOHALL.
DISTANCE & REMOTE LEARNING Our Dojo has been offering remote and distance learning since 2007, on our platform called BUDOHALL. Students can attend classes, and access Live Stream archives, along with accessing a massive library of training resources. Learn more about BUDOHALL.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS
No. The training agreements at our Dojo are month to month. If you wish to leave us we only ask for the courtesy of a 30 day notice prior. Pretty simple.
No. Membership to the Dojo is priced by the year and payment options are available by year or month to month only. However, when guests visit us from out of town, we do offer options based on their visit.
Yes. Members who pay by the year receive a discount that equals two free months. The tuition is $1,200 for this.

No. Students are required to get their own training equipment and uniform after they enroll.

No. We are a very small business, which means the more we can automate, the more attention we can give to our students.
Managing scheduled payments, and chasing students for tuition is not what we do, and therefor we offer an easy to use tuition management system for each member.
The second reason is that we prefer to keep the Dojo a place that does not have a cash register. Too much to type about here, but let's just say that it has no place in a traditional Dojo and we intend to keep it that way.

JISSEN KOBUDO JINENKAN
Literally translated, Jinenkan means "Hall of Nature" and represents Unsui Sensei's feeling of his martial arts being like the natural flow of the elements. Just as the wind can pass around any obstacle and leave no trace, or alternately can destroy anything in its path.
