KUSARI FUNDOJUTSU
From mannerisms to grappling, this course will walk you through all of the fundamentals on the Kusari Fundo 鎖分銅, you will need to begin training.
BO SHURIKENJUTSU
This course is packed with lessons, covering all of the details necessary to train Bo Shuriken 棒手裏剣, the iron spike used in Jissen Kobudo, for throwing and grappling.
TANTOJUTSU
The most sought after curriculum is here in this course on the Japanese tanto 短刀. You will learn the fundamentals of tantojutsu, along with theory and history surrounding it.
JUTTEJUTSU
This course includes basic handling of the Jutte 十手, the police truncheon used to defend against and restrain criminals. An exceptional weapon, and history in our art.
SENBAN SHURIKENJUTSU
A unique weapon to the Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu, these lessons about the Senban Shuriken 銛盤手裏剣.will help your training, accuracy and understanding of this tool.
TESSENJUTSU
This unique weapon goes hand in hand with the other arresting tools. You will learn the basics of Tessenjutsu, 鉄扇術 and fundamental applications of the iron war fan.
EDA KOPPOJUTSU
Gaining the upper-hand in taijutsu was the goal of the Eda Koppo 枝骨法. This course will take you through both basic and advanced applications within the Koppojutsu.
NAWA JUTSU
Our traditions are rich with methods and forms that utilize rope and chord for binding an opponent. In this course, we will break these down to the fundamentals of Nawa Jutsu.
A YEAR ROUND, HIGHLY FOCUSSED STUDY GROUP
This new program led by Adam Mitchell is focussed on helping you develop the foundational skills of the most complex and often poorly taught small-weaponry systems of Jissen Kobudo, the Kaksuhi Buki.
Within each small training-group community led by Adam, each member will gain a holistic understanding and strong practice in each unique weapon.
Training will be year round, where members will be tasked with training routines and assignments meant to sharpen and elevate their comprehension and handling of each weapon. Accountability, reflections and support will be always available in a private online community.
This training is not ryu-ha specific, and is not the goal of this study group. Rather, the goal is to provide each member with confidence and proficiency needed to expand their training within each individual weapon system and associated lineage using these tools.
PLEASE NOTE: ENROLLMENT TO THE KAKUSHI BUKI KENKYUKAI IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN DECEMBER AND JUNE
