STUDENT TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Following is a list of specialized companies who offer the products you will need for training. We do not collect any commission from them, but all of the equipment listed we have used rigorously and stand behind. If there is anything you would lik to use in the Dojo aside from what is listed below, it must be approved. Please contact us with any questions.
KEIKOGI
The standard training jacket used in the Jinenkan is the same as used in Kendo. E-Bogu offers the best source for quality keikogi in the US. This Shoaizome Kakuori Kendogi is an excellent started jacket. NOTE: Do not include the Juban/Shitagi when ordering.

PANTS
These 14 oz. super heavyweight pants are made of soft 100% brushed cotton canvas for comfort and unsurpassed durability. Featuring a drawstring waist and generous gusset through the thigh for greater mobility, reinforced at the stress points with vents for breathability.

We require students to wear all black or Dojo / Jinenkan specific tshirts or rash guards under their keikogi (jacket). Wearing colored or random shirts is frowned upon, and students should wear proper training attire.

WHITE OAK BOKKEN
This bokken is both affordable and sturdy, worthy of impact training and a tool you will get years out of. They are the ideal starter bokken for kenjutsu training.

ROKUSHAKU BO
This traditional straight bo is made tough to withstand repetitive practice sessions. Composed of durable hardwood with a 1.25 inch diameter. Weight starts at approximately 1 lb. 15 oz. Imported. Oversized shipping rates apply.

Full time membership to our traditional Dojo in New York and access to all training, and Budohall. Learn about the different programs and classes offered and how you can be part of our community.
Launched in 2007, our Dojo offered the first fully interactive martial arts training resource online. Since then, students from all over the world rely on Budohall to supplement their training.
Six week long martial art intensives, on highly focusses areas of focus. Yasuragi Dojo Gashuku events are both live and virtual and are always centered on one area of training.
A self training program designed to support the traditional martial artists in topics of Junan Taisō, Undō and Meisō. Over 100 video lessons and bonus material.
